Guidance notes
Selective alpha-blockers are acceptable after a 2-week grounding period, and 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors after 48 hours of grounding. Applicants on tamsulosin must be monitored for postural hypotension at every medical. All lower urinary tract symptom cases require case presentation.
